Do I need to rent in advance? 

If you plan to ride one of our vehicles, it is critical that you complete a booking (status of your order must be PAID) at least 24 hours before the rental start hour! IN CASE YOU WANT TO TRAVEL OUTSIDE ROMANIA, YOU MUST NOTIFY US AND ASK FOR THE ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS !!! 

How fast can I be on the road if rental and warranty deposit are paid in advance?

Our pickup location is not the right place to have a vacation, we like to be very efficient, don't like to waste time and we respect your holiday. Please note that we allocate max 10minutes / motorbike rented during pickup or return procedures. After this period we will charge 20euro for each 30min we spend together.

Pick up location - is it close to Bucharest OTP Airport?

Starting with 2023, our pick-up location it is outside Bucharest OTP Airport, inside underground parking lot of Hilton Garden Inn hotel.

How safe is to book a motorcycle from Rent4Ride

What is the age and experience I should have?

You must be at least 25 years old. The rider must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability to operate a motorcycle. Our company reserves the right to cancel a rental contract if a rider doesn’t demonstrate proper skill or it proves he does not control the bike in a safely manner. 

How can I rent a motorcycle in Romania?

Starting with 2018 we made the booking process very simple, you go to www.rent4ride.ro and book it in 3 simple steps: 1) select hour and dates when you want to travel; 2) choose the BMW model and 3) fill in your data and make an advance payment to secure the booking. Please be aware that in order to give you the lowest prices, the advance payment is non-refundable. But in case you cannot travel to Romania, you always have the option to send a friend instead of you.

What motorbikes can I rent from Rent4Ride motorcycle rental Romania?

We only rent BMW motorbikes from GS category. We provide the newest motorbikes to our customers: R1200GS LC, F800GS, F700GS, F650GS and G650GS.

Do you offer the best prices for BMW motorbikes rental in Romania?

A: We guarantee you always get the lowest price when you reserve a motorbike from Rent4Ride BMW Motorcycle Rental Romania. If you find a qualifying lower price for the same motorbike model within 24 hours after making your reservation (and if we verify your claim) we will give you the lower price. 

How can I pay for my BMW rental?

In order to book the BMW vehicle, you will pay(card, Revolut or wire transfer) an advance payment or the discounted full rental price(min 30days in advance). When you pick up the motorbike you will pay the remaining balance (cash or by card) and the warranty deposit. 

We like to make things simple so you can get on your motorcycle and get on the road in the shortest time. What is the warranty deposit?

A: Before renting the vehicle, you need to pay with your card a warranty deposit between 350 and 1500 euro/vehicle. The warranty deposit is just a hold on your card (debit or credit) it is not an actual transaction. When you return the rented vehicle, we reserve 24hours to check it (full tank of fuel and no additional damages). Within 24 hours after you return the vehicle, we will unblock the warranty deposit if no additional damages are found. What is the fuel policy?

A: The motorbike will be delivered to the Renter with a full tank of fuel. Should the Renter return the motorbike with an empty tank, refuelling service € 10 plus fuel cost will be charged.

What about insurance?

The mandatory insurance is already included in the rental price. The full coverage insurance is optional  and it costs 15 euro/day. In order to be able to offer you a very low rate for Full coverage insurance, we introduced an excess of 500 euro. This insurance is providing insurance coverage in case of theft/ accident/ damage. For less than 3 days rental, please be aware that the minimum full coverage insurance cost is 50 euro/motorbike. Because it is 100% user responsibility, the insurance does not cover the situation where the stator/generator or voltage regulator are damaged. You can avoid this expense by turning OFF the engine while you are not riding the motorbike.

Is there any mileage limit?

A: No. The bikes can be driven as far as you like as long as you are within the booked period.

Discount policy?

A: For a rental that includes more than 10 motorbikes, we are open to discuss a group discount, just write us an email! Follow our monthly discounts and you will get the lowest prices for renting the newest BMW motorbikes in Romania. If you RIDE in March or November you will get a special discount.

What are the expenses under rider responsibility?

1. Electrical stator/generator or voltage regulator. Because it is 100% user responsibility, the insurance does not cover the situation where the stator/generator or voltage regulator are damaged. 2. Flat tire. In case of flat tire, please share your location with us on WhatsApp. We will be able to search for the closest and fastest fix for you, we will inform you about the costs and you will be responsible for this expense.
